Over the past few years I have become increasingly aware of how prevalent a certain disgusting kind of sexism is in Swedish workplaces. I'm not even being overly sensitive and PC--this is the real deal, the kind of sexism and systematic mistreatment of women that should make most people's skin crawl. It's giving me a toothache, tbh. I can't remember the last time something work-related made me feel this uneasy--bad, even. And I can't help but shudder when I think that Sweden's supposed to hold a leading position, globally, in matters of gender equality.
Just wanted to vent because I feel esp. uneasy about it today; feel free to share your thoughts if you like.
