Looks intriguing.
Been waiting for a decent MMO to come along.
Seems to be very open-ended, but they have to be careful that that doesn't leave players feeling too lost or unsure what to do.
That's always a big problem. They do seem to know how to make a game interesting, but I wonder how well they can work on their present budget.
Combat RPG mode or FPS mode sounds interesting but might be crazy hard to balance.
Personally prefer Fantasy RPG over Sci Fi but it looks interesting. However it also looks incredibly over ambitious for the budget they're looking to raise on Kickstarter. Colour me skeptical.

Crafting preview from half a year ago.
Anyone with knowledge of how such games are made have any idea how feasible this project is? It does seem to be over-ambitious, but I'm not an expert on these things. Do keep in mind that the kickstarter was over a year ago. The fact that they're still making a game seems to be a plus. :o
This part I really loved -
"Boss Abilities
Raids are a huge part of MMOs. It’s a big deal the first time you defeat a certain boss. Strategies need to be developed. It’s a rewarding accomplishment. Over time though the strategies become posted on the internet, and the encounters become unchallenging. To help prevent that we’ve gone with a generated special abilities system for our bosses. Rather than having 2 or 3 static abilities on each spawn, our bosses will choose 2 or 3 abilities from a much larger pool. These abilities will change on each spawn. This will force players to react and form their strategies on the fly."
Like Diablo II
this results in either weaker monsters, or people jumping to a different instance to avoid annoying skill modifiers.
Not a biggie for me really. I very rarely raid in MMOs.
