In this thread there seems to be a lot of broken quotes from people who are ordinarily perfectly capable of using the quote function. Rather than mock their stupidity outright, I thought I would just blame you for breaking the forums again.

But he said it in the thread where he talked about college students not understanding whatever it was. I used the exact phrase, and even the original post i was looking at didnt come up.
I know, I don't understand it...but it does seem to be working for others. Anything else specific you can think of to try that may also trigger a failure? Everything seems to be working okay for me.

Do you get more money for putting the ads in the middle? Cause if you don't, how bout putting them at the bottom?
You only get money from these ads if they're clicked on AFAIK.
I think you get one sum of money for seeing them on your page (impression) and another for clicking through. The former is probably much smaller than the latter though.Quote:

Ad-Block back on and re-logged in. :noob: I thought the idea with AdSense was to get ads related to what we were talking about, which sounded interesting. Guess we've not got that? Or is there something about the site that makes it appear full of gay illegals ...

For what it's worth, I've been getting things like student loan financing and motorcycle technician training on GC, and pundity stuff like a site on Obamacare or congressional petitions on D&D when I look at the ads.

I don't think there's any reason to ban anything unless it affects people's sensibilities. Personally I don't care (its blocked for me anyway).
If it was anything interesting I'd be tempted to whitelist this site somehow but since its standard internet crap I think I'll just keep it blocked.
