"A store's cameras allegedly show accused killer Markeith Loyd standing over Orlando Police Lt. Debra Clayton as she was wounded and lying on her back, repeatedly firing and mortally wounding her, according to an arrest warrant affidavit filed today.

The warrant described the alleged shooting that occurred around 7:15 a.m. on Jan. 9, while Clayton was on duty and at a Walmart. A witness, not identified in the warrant, approached Clayton and told her Loyd, who was wanted for the Dec. 13 murder of his ex-girlfriend, was in the store, according to the warrant."

"Orlando police on Thursday released video of Loyd's capture. In the video -- which was shot from a police chopper above the scene -- Loyd is seen crawling away from a house and toward officers by the roadway. After he stopped crawling, the officers approached him while he lay prone in the street. At least one officer then appeared to kick Loyd in the head. At that point, the chopper camera panned away.

Mina called the camera pulling away "concerning" and said the apparent use of force will be investigated.

Mina said Loyd suffered a fractured left orbital bone and damage to his eye. He was hospitalized until late Wednesday."

I'm glad he was kicked. I'm glad he broke his orbital bone and damaged his eye. I hope he suffers. Scum like this should die in prison. Hopefully the guards give this piece of shit a warm welcome.

Of course the police hating liberals of the city couldn't help but vandalize the dead police officers vehicle...

"Meanwhile, an Orlando Police Department spokesperson said today that it appears someone vandalized Clayton's police vehicle Thursday night or early this morning.

Words were scrawled in blue across parts of the parked car, which has been sitting strewn with flowers and flags as a memorial to the fallen officer."

Pathetic. Hopefully they catch the culprit and kick in his face too.

If this is true then of course the officer should also be arrested and sentenced to prison.

Does it help you psychologically to phrase things this way, Lewk? Did Rand break his orbital bone when he viciously rammed it against that poor drunk's beer bottle years ago? Or, just maybe, did Rand did not break his own orbital bone but someone ELSE broke Rand's orbital bone?

How absurd that when a pregnant woman and a cop are dead we are talking about a kicking. Not the death of two innocents.

The murderer should be punished severely but not by a rogue cop trying to exact revenge for his murdered colleague.

Everyone here knows that it's wrong to kill pregnant women and cops, but not everyone here knows that it might be wrong for a cop to kick a suspect in the head with enough force to fracture bone when that suspect isn't a threat. So you might say that an endorsement of the latter is more newsworthy and discussion-worthy than a condemnation of the former, like a man-bites-dog kind of thing.

Even if we were to toss aside the presumption of innocence and say this guy's a murderer, the cop's actions created another victim: the law itself. In extension, if we tolerate this kind of behavior, it will lead to the victimization of innocents as well. In fact, it already has--for many decades.

We don't know why the cop acted as he did and he's innocent until proven guilty. Maybe there was a reason to kick like the guy was reaching for a weapon, maybe there was no reason and he did it for revenge for the murder of his colleagues. One is justifiable, the other is not. The difference is Lewk doesn't care if there's a valid reason and wants extrajudicial violence without reason.
