We should have no more respect for Musk than we do for Trump. They both spew shit until the general public accepts it as fact and buys into their crap.
Via SpaceX, Musk pioneered landing rocket boosters, has captured 70% of the global commercial satellite launch market, has weened us off the Russian launch teet for getting astronauts to space, and will soon have a fully reusable launch system sporting more thrust than the Saturn V. These accomplishments alone are so far beyond anything Donald Trump has ever done in his lifetime, it's laughable to even waste a moment to consider it (which I just did).
This said, I am not going to argue for a moment that Musk hasn't gotten up to a lot of assholery in his time, nor do I think he won't be up to much more in the future. I only take issue with you saying he deserves no more respect than Donald Trump, who is a legit piece of shit leech on the neck of humanity in every conceivable way.

Be that as it may, he's still nowhere near equivalent to Donald Trump. As troubling as Musk is, I respect many of his achievements. Trump hasn't done a single thing in his life, that I'm aware of, deserving of any respect at all.Quote:
