Reddit had the below picture on its front page this morning. I figured it was a creative photoshop or movie scene.

Turns out, the redditor who posted it lives across the street from a home that decided today was a good day to explode.

Comments seemed to say it was a gas explosion. Makes me really hope the people who lived there happened to be away when hell erupted.

Reminds me, on a much smaller case, of an explosion a couple of years ago in the Netherlands. That place looked like a war zone..


The fiery shit starts hitting the fan at 1:14, major explosion at 3:00, scenes of destruction at 4:00.


Also, since when do gas explosions cause destruction like in that picture? I thought they generally 'just' blow out a few walls, not multiple houses.. :bulb:

Firework storage, yes. I think the owners were convicted for criminal negligence for the explosion, because they broke a bunch of safety rules.
