Almost as good as the NYT headline a week back about the mysterious group of rocks that killed a driver in Jerusalem.
Probably reflects the atmosphere at the universities BBC hires its interns/new workers from.
Current headline on the news front page is "Israelis killed in Jerusalem attacks"
Yes, it was changed after complaints because even the BBC realized it was egregious. (The Israeli press regulator complained and only after several edits was the headline even remotely balanced. They are mulling sanctions against BBC reporters in Israel, though obviously I'd disagree about such a move.)
AJ English had a similar headline but at least they had the balls to own up to it rather than doing a stealth edit:

I love the Daily Mail's emphasis on one of the prostitutes being a transsexual and the fact she has "male genitalia". Clearly the main point of this story.
A man in Sainsburys tapped me on the shoulder with a cucumber repeatedly, while going "wayheeey". I asked "What are you doing?" but he walked off.
That happened.
I suppose under a Lewkowskian analysis I should have shot him dead, along with one or two bystanders just to be on the safe side.
I think I'm starting to come around to the Lewkowkskian world view.
http://nypost.com/2015/10/18/princip...ut-their-desks And now the school tyrants are going after their own...
First the pictures, delivery guy driving around the cones to park on the grass and sidewalk of the library (while pointed the wrong direction) in order to make a delivery across the street.

But the pictures aren't the WTF here. The response is! I posted those on twitter and tagged Dominoes and my geolocation. They replied and asked me to fill out an official complaint form on their site, while referencing an incident number they gave me. The complaint form is written in the manner as if I had ordered the delivery so a lot of the questions I left blank and gave a short blurb about this being in south tampa and attached my pictures with their metadata. I then get an email asking me for that missing information, cause they can't pass this to the correct location without it (even though south tampa only has 1 dominoes). I explain my case, again. Today I get a call from someone asking me to explain everything AGAIN. Apparently each time I was contacted the complaint had rolled down hill and the new person either didn't believe or understand what was given to them. The person I just talked to had me describe the type of car, because she doesn't do the whole twitter thing, and was only given the last email response I had sent Dominoes. She then had me text her these 2 pictures.
After all this, and all these middle managers that just don't get it, I realized that these people are/were Rand, and I likely got the ball rolling for some poor son of a bitch to get fired by these clueless and disorganized people.

Its middle school, those things are never legit. This principal screwed up in not picking her group fast enough.
Millenials using parenting skills like hacks.
Exactly. She needs to figure out why the vote turned out the way it did, and make adjustments for next year. Then she gets her diversity and students get their election results. And hint for the principal: telling people that they voted wrong is not a proper kind of adjustment.
Ummmm...the popular kids won? How hard is that for this 'educator' to figure out?
And maybe the kids don't care what color the other kids are? Jesus, isn't that the point?
I'm guessing the non-white kids didn't campaign because it's not something they or their parents have much experience with. They probably also don't have the kind of networks inside and outside the school that would allow them to get a large number of votes. But these are problems to consider before a vote, not after.
Its middle school, the popular kids win every time. They have no power within the school, they have no idea what they are doing during the "campaigning" period, and not a single student gives a shit about how many posters of flyers you print out. Some of these kids are 11 years old, with the oldest barely hitting 14. Its always been a popularity contest at that age, which is why its always been rigged by the administration. They either pick the kids that are easiest to work with (to sell dance tickets and work at fundraising events), or they pick the smart kids to help push them in the right direction concerning public service and politics.
From the limited info we have on this fuck up, I'm guessing no good or smart kids decided to run, and the school didn't have a plan on what to do about that.
I took it as a PC way of saying the popular black kids ran and won and none of the better off or reliable white kids did.
Looked it up, the school is 3/4ths poor, 1/3 non-English speaking and over half hispanic, so replace black with mexican. Simply put, the administration doesn't want to deal with the kids who ran and won.
"There were no Latino or black candidates chosen for the top four spots."
well then. thats wtf on me. Guess I missed that first line thinking it was an image tag.
Wonder how many kids ran to spread the votes so wildly. Overly simplifying it here but 1 white kid vs 6 latinos and the white kid gets it.
