Just the other night, cops were caught on video beating a peaceful middle-aged protester with a club and spraying some sort of chemical irritant right into his face. They beat him so hard that he got multiple fractures in his hand that will surgery. There are hundreds of videos of cops violently assaulting protesters in similar or even more disgusting ways, and violating their civil rights on a massive scale. Arrest every last one of those cops, charge them, prosecute them, get them fired and—where appropriate—tossed into prison. The protests will melt away. Continue to enable police misconduct, and you'll only encourage more misconduct—with more protests as a result. I understand this may be difficult to understand for a dull-witted bootlicking pussy such as yourself, but the police must be held to account.

Have some concerns sharing this since it shows injuried jounalists, women, and black men. Lewk's trifecta of pleasure.

Are you, someone who claims to be against government overreach in general, and the federal government in particular, comfortable with federal agents arresting people, not identify what agency they are with, not state what charges they are arrested for, pushing people to waive their civil rights, and then release them?

Because if these were criminals, surely they'd be at least able to give a reason for arrests, and to press charges.

Also, given they don't identify themselves and from what agency they are from, nor for what charges they are arresting you.. how do you even know they are cops? Would you say you're in your rights to shoot them in self defense from kidnapping?

Not identifying the agency they are with in the moment doesn't matter. What matters is if the arrest has probable cause and if the person was released afterward or booked. Note: At time of arrest it is not required to read Miranda rights, this is a bit of a myth. Also the idea that they don't know they are cops (DHS/Marshals) is a bit absurd.

If they don't even say which agency they are from, don't show identification, and don't say why they are addressing you, how does one know they are cops and not kidnappers? How is that absurd?

The problem Lewkowksi has that he doesn't understand is he thinks that "fear" works. It doesn't. Federal agents in Portland are stoking violence with their antics and instead of calming the situation down as a cowered populace slink with their tail between their legs back home, it is aggravating the situation and making the situation work as more toxic and violent.

Because people know that when someone is bullying you the response is not to be afraid, it is to stand up to the bully. And once you are no longer afraid of a bully, what can they do?
