The ONS is now more open about the issues with their LTIM estimates that I pointed out previously, and immigration from the EU is indeed plummeting even though students have continued to visit. Sectors reliant on EU8 migrants are seeing difficulties with finding enough workers. Johnson going back on the Tories' pledge to their voters doesn't change the fact that the UK's access to this labor has been and will continue to be restricted. You might call this impressive, but it is just a continuing series of preventable self-owns.
