Hmm there's a good commercial for Virgin Australia before it starts.

I don't know what I did wrong, but apparenty I don't know how to link youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dppqi2ccscU Same Song, I hope at least one person likes it, i think you will.
Tim, you also inspired me to think about how I "found" different music over the years. It's hard to reconstruct, of course, from times before youtube or even headphones in Border's....but Spandau Ballet led to Barefoot Ballet (intro to John Klemmer). Pop and dance, jazz and piano. When I was little, I loved the Charlie Brown music.
Vince Guaraldi led to Dave Grusin and others like Dave Brubeck, Lee Rittenour and Earl Klugh. Eventually coming full circle to George Benson, who was already popular at the time, and Al Jarreau. I used to read the album covers and try to find music from background singers or piano players that got printed credits. I found Karla Bonoff from reading James Taylor credits. Totally different types of music, but all enjoyable. Back then I spent a lot of money on "unknown" artists, but it usually paid in the end. It didn't cost much to buy a cassette or even a vinyl.....back then that's all we had anyway. :noob:
Speaking of George Benson! I musta burned through a few needles listening to this man:
That was cool, lolli :) especially with my kid's iTunes song playing in the background....
Got the new Lady Gaga album on Amazon today for $1. It's sorta meh for the most part.
That was our class song when I graduated high school.
It was supposedly a vote, but nobody ever 'fessed up to voting for it. I think the faculty just decided for us.
edit: Referring to the first video, and only video before lolli edited.
God, you make me feel so fucking old. I hate you.
Black is the Color of my True Love's Hair. Remix of Nina Simone (or at least I think it's a remix).

I recognize that trance music, but not under those names. Wish my memory was better.....but that's definitely something from DC. K street or 13th street, or something like that.
Found it! 18th street lounge, Thievery Corporation. Rather hard to pinpoint one tune, but here is one, very close to your Kruder and Dorfmeister, EJ.
Another, with vocals:
Hear the similarities? Feel them? :)
Loved this kind of music back in the end of the 90ties, still good stuff.
Black Baby was very nice.
The model is wearing a tunic and hat made from soda pop tab tops, woven together to look like chain links. ;)
Probably not the music for most people here, but man, this was good live!
KLF
For our Berlin loving Khen
If you can't brew good beer, you can always make good commercials.
Let's do something for our BNP
An absolute classic, one of the best songs every written:
Then there's this gem from two of the most 'fun' modern musicians out there:
And lastly, for those of you who don't care much about understanding what you're hearing, a title song from a recent movie written by a truly superlative musician:
Fantasia. Great stuff.
Does anyone else remember watching this on the big screen, as a little child?
