Ah, but then who is a zombie?
Well, I suppose the challenge is figuring out who's the zombie, and who's the vampire or werewolf. Or what the contagion is....Quote:
“Any serious contagion – financial, flu, or undead – means that policymakers have to recognize that they cannot save everyone,” Colas wrote.
In a way, we've all been infected with the idea that "growth" is both the norm and the goal. So when things are still or not making huge moves up (but down) we use words like engine or fuel or stimulus.
We do have zombie banks and vampire squids, though. :p
Actually I don't think I've gotten any more right wing... or really changed my stance on pretty much anything. The beauty of always being right is never having to change your mind. :)Quote:
Out of us six, Lewk has definitely become more right-wing, as did Dread and myself.
I've always favored harsh punishments of criminals. I've always supported lower taxes and less government.
"Kids" usually start out pretty idealistic, and usually drift toward being socially liberal (which usually means Democrats). Once they get out of college and start getting "real paychecks" and pay "real rent", they start to pay attention to taxes and gummint spending (which used to mean Republicans--until Bush).
I think once middle age hits we can go either way, but usually try to find the middle, depending on personal experiences.
No, Lewk, it's not necessarily a good thing to NEVER change a stance on anything. Being rigid doesn't mean being correct.
