I love Oblivion... Morrowind is better though
EDIT: Meant to reply to OG
Totally not worth it. Too short and seriously, the ending pissed me off big time (and I didn't mind when Halo 2 did it but that was Halo 2, not the first in your fucking series).
The co-operative mode is decent enough though but I'm not sure if it's enough to salvage the game.
Steam is doing another round of daily games sales.
Right now we got Trine for $4, Bioshock 2 for $14.99, and a few other games or packages. A bunch of games for under $2.

I got Mass Effect 1 and 2 through Steam's EA week. It's pretty addicting. The textures are super-crap in the first one (don't know about the second yet), but the game's still good.
Tropico 3.
Hours of Communistickle fun!
Spoiler:
I picked up Resident Evil 5 from GameStop for $15 used. Birthday gift card that i used immediately for once. Only played a few minutes, but there is something seriously wrong with the way the developers modeled the eyes of the people. Everyone appears bug eyed. :bulb:
Spoiler:
That doesnt seem to do much for me OG
fixed
I'm not going to buy anymore games until I finish the ones I have. That said, I got L4D2 for $10.20. I've been playing more Audiosurf, though (it was gifted to me). It's really addicting.
I have been kicking ass and taking names in MoO 2, whee
Getting back into Forza 2, then driving like a madman in my neighborhood until I realize bending out into a turn isn't street-approved.
I just completed Mass Effect 2 and loved it. The story is just as good as in the first game and they've made a number of changes to make the gameplay a bit simpler i.e. you don't end up with hundreds of low rank items clogging up your inventory that you then either have to sell or convert to medi-gel.
I'd give it a 9/10
I'm now back playing through MW2 and unlocking achievements for the single player campaign.
I also just completed 'Splosion Man on Xbox Arcade which is one of the funniest and best platform games I've ever played. 10/10
Got FFXIII for my birthday and am absolutely addicted to it :)
82 days to Civ 5 ...
I've bought every Civ game from original through to IV but not sure I'll bother with V. To be honest, III and IV were never able to keep my attention in the same way I and II were, it just felt like re-playing the same old game with different graphics. I and II I played regularly for years, III and IV for weeks. Is there anything new in V that wasn't there in II, III or IV?
Picked up Flatout for $2. Hard for a game like that to not be worth it.
I don't know much about it. Unit stacking is out, and hexagons instead of squares.
And I loved IV, I played to reach every possible victory (5 of em I think). I skipped II and III though.
Brandy gets home, it looks like I'm going to be playing some Smash Bros Melee.
As Master Hand!.
7 years to find a glitch like this. Holy shit.
I've played to death every generation of Civ. Lately I've been playing Civ 4 Beyond the Sword expansion pack which is, imho, wonderful. I don't think its at all a rehash of the old with updated graphics. Its extremely complex, however, which can be off-putting.
Civ 5 looks like its going to have a much more tactical combat system, which I'm totally up for. Sounds like the strategic resources, like oil, are going to be much more temporary than before and they will only support so many units.
One of the things I've always hated about resources was how you discover a tile with horses on it and now you can build chariots. However, you can't breed your own horses, or grow horses on a different tile, so when your neighbors conquer one of your cities and steal that resource you can't build chariots anymore. Resources like a gold mine, that makes sense for. But horses? Cows? Pigs? Sheep? They're clearly not geographically dependant.
I also didn't like how a city could only grow off the food it can grow in the tiles around it. That's totally unrealistic. There should be a technology or a national wonder you can build - like a commodities market - that allows for a national pool of food that you can allocate among your cities so some cities can grow huge despite having poor farmland around them - like Las Vegas or Phoenix. :) Then you can take it global and sell excess food on the global market and buy if you end up with a shortfall.
I beat Mysteries of the Sith just yesterday, which finishes up the Dark Forces series.
Curse Steam's amazing summer deals, I'm a buck short of buying Flatout 2. :(
:( I could have gifted you that Mario! Don't mean to brag, but its a fun little game considering how cheap it was.
