You may be tired of jewelery pics, but sometimes I am really proud of doing something I have never done before.
This beast took 6 hours. A lot went wrong, and I learned a lot in the process, mostly, how to do it better next time.
Sweet
No one would dare complain about pics of your amazing work. No one.
If that's you doing it wrong then I hope you continue to fail so awesomely! :D It's like that with any artistic profession though, all we see when we look at our work are the flaws.
:) Angel.
Yeah, you see the finished product, and it looks fine to you. You do not see the compromises, or features that had to be tossed due to measurement errors.
Diamonds are a bitch to photograph, and I think that top image is the best capture to date.
Klezmerizing?
Today was my best mate's birthday... beer, lotsa music, and then a desperate search for a place in town with unoccupied barstools... ended in failure for everyone else. I ended up at a club and got an unplanned second date and kissies  me like
Totally wasted. Met a nice girl, have to ask her out tomorrow. Will see how that goes.
Brandy took Ocean yardsale hunting today, and Ocean spent her Easter Money on a $4 Gameboy color in great condition. Girl has excellent taste. When I told her we only have one game for it (Pokemon Blue) she told Brandy and I we needed to buy her more games so she won't have wasted her money. A line we commonly feed Brent when he wants toys and games that come in parts. This girl doesn't miss a damn thing.
did I say revue? I meant a four-hour long extremely entertaining highly interactive musical play based on Beauty and the Beast... probably the best investment I've made this semester =D more kissies. found a 20 SEK bill, second week in a row now. have bought the most comfortable loose-fit woven cotton boxers EVER. HAPPY SOCKS. i'm a rather happy lad tonight :D
Are your socks happier than your undies, though?
Rings and shiny things :) My mom had a ring like that Bitter, she found it at an estate sale. We called it the OhMyGod ring. My sister has it now. When she wears it to garden we say OhMyGod you're wearing the OhMyGod ring in the dirt??!!
:D
oh crap I forgot why I came to this thread in the first place, Bitter's jewels distracted me!
Had a nice chat with my son. He carries the, uh, family jewels. :haha:
Smart, sensitive, amazing young man. We have a good rapport, considering all the fucked up variables in our reality (history). Contrary to my fucked up perspective, he has a better perspective of his own HappiNess than I knew. I'd hoped he would, but you how know these things are funny or odd in their paradox.
This makes me happy, that he is happy, or happy finding his happiNess, day by day.
Also, that he still has dimples when he smiles a certain way, even after losing his baby fat. He pretended to protest at first, when I kissed his cheek and gave him a big mama hug (boys do that sometimes, usually if someone else is looking on). But he hugged me right back. Big and tight, with no pulling back. Such a nice linger there, words can't describe.
And the world is right.
Just saw an advert for You Don't Know Jack. A movie about Kervorkian and assisted suicide (which is a great issue) Starring Al Pacino (whom I love) and the score sounded like The Swingle Singers (whom I also love and wonder if anyone here knows who/what that is) but it's on HBO and I don't have that! Whatever, eventually it will be on DVD.
:D
^Saw the advert on HBO2 a few minutes ago--it looks pretty neat, by the way--and am now watching Treme, this new series about a post-Katrina neighborhood in N.O. It's far from depressing; the culture is fascinating, and the way it weaves and tells the stories of all these different people is really keeping my interest. It's witty, funny, and smart. I highly recommend it.
Who can help me? argh

I swear to God the background music is the Swingle Singers, doing Switched On Bach, but I can't figure out how to confirm that....
How do I find this? Any helpers?
I just suck at searching things. Just keep getting reviews or trailers of the movie, but can't find the score (the trailer might be different from the movie music itself).
the acapella singing, that is the Swingle Singers! I grew up listening to that stuff, my mom would put it on the hi-fi when I was fussy. lol
Would make me really happy if one of you nerds could find out and tell me, is it some new arrangement I can buy on a CD?
