I recognize that trance music, but not under those names. Wish my memory was better.....but that's definitely something from DC. K street or 13th street, or something like that.
Found it! 18th street lounge, Thievery Corporation. Rather hard to pinpoint one tune, but here is one, very close to your Kruder and Dorfmeister, EJ.
Another, with vocals:
Hear the similarities? Feel them? :)
Loved this kind of music back in the end of the 90ties, still good stuff.
Black Baby was very nice.
The model is wearing a tunic and hat made from soda pop tab tops, woven together to look like chain links. ;)
Probably not the music for most people here, but man, this was good live!

An absolute classic, one of the best songs every written:
Then there's this gem from two of the most 'fun' modern musicians out there:
And lastly, for those of you who don't care much about understanding what you're hearing, a title song from a recent movie written by a truly superlative musician:
Fantasia. Great stuff.
Does anyone else remember watching this on the big screen, as a little child?
Best of the Best.
Pandora kicks so much ass. Last four songs for me have been:
Cash, dropkicks, Cash and BR... heh.
Pandora sucks so much ass, making me like it and then disabling the service for my part of the world :(
One of the consequences of US legislation regarding licensing for internet "radio." Fucking RIAA and Congress. I can't even use it when I'm out of country... unless I proxy through a US VPN, or my gateway box, or whatever. Want a definition of suck, try streaming music through a home broadband connection and then across the Atlantic. :(

This might be in the "wrong thread" but I just heard a tv commercial with this music in the background
and they mentioned Bach as an inspiration, for their product. :(
Hell, I've also heard my kids playing some video game recently, with background music by Prokofiev, but they didn't know how I "knew" the music and could hum along. Not sure how they forget I used to put this on during their nap times. :(
And also this one, which they still think of as a "Disney" production:
Can't say I blame them, after all. Disney's presentations are pretty hard to beat:
Same Satie on flute, cello and piano. Quite lovely. Just three instruments, sounding as much more. Cello adds more depth than the harp, I think.
An anime lover discovered Satie here---
