I think Dread is denying that corexit breaks up the oil into droplets (what it was designed to do) that resulted in higher transfer rate on the toxic part of the oil into the bloodstream (which is why residents in the path of the water and wind currents are also getting sick). Or maybe he is denying the widespread claims that BP denied proper safety cleanup equipment as they tried to downplay the hazard. A common thread with the Valdez spill, of which there are almost no surviving members of that cleanup, and the average age was 51.

Or maybe, just maybe, he is using a thread derail to stop the current conversation from making him look anymore like an evil bastard.
