Oddly enough I never got a ticket for that. There must not have been any film in the camera. Ba dum tish.

This has been such a fucking ADHD day I feel like I've done a little bit of everything but haven't actually gotten anything much done
Ngaaaaagh
Fixed my fucking slipper, that's fucking something I guess
Argleblargleglarb
4th day in a row of having an awful ache and pain in left shoulder/upper arm, rendering the arm effectively useless as I can hardly move it without wincing.
It's the most beautiful weekend - ~25 degrees C, no clouds in the sky - I'm desperate to get the kites, buggies and boards out and get back into the kitesports but can't cos of my fuckerating spasticated arm. :sour:
Have to register with a local doc and get this checked out.
:(
Been such a glorious weekend, but I've been having to work each day of it. Yesterday was 32.5C inside, currently it's 30.5C in here, the Air Con just can't cope.
Still enjoying it though. Was able to get out early yesterday, go home and we just sat on my back garden swing in the sunshine with some cocktail drinks. hoping to get out early today too; Got the drinks ready for tonight and some sausages for our first barbecue of the season.
Oops, my post was supposed to go in Happy not Groove thread. Why I don't normally post from my phone while at work.
Hope you can get some good news from the Doc Tim, it's worth getting it checked out.
I had a gig last friday, which was fun and all, and there was also a californian band on tour there. Hung out with them, was fun and all, but with all the free booze (perks of playing in a band :D) I got completely fucked up black out drunk :( I didn't manage to eat anything on saturday.
Aww, poor baby.
Oh, and I almost forgot: I also did not know where my phone and my bass guitar were. But at least I managed to find those fairly quickly by calling around :)
Now that's just sloppy behavior.
Unacceptable.
Amanda became a 'grandorphan' today :(. Got woken up this morning by a phone call to say her grandfather had died in his sleep. :(
Both her grandma's and her other grandfather had already passed away :(
It has been a fuckered up 2 weeks, dammit! The Friend was last here on the 9th, and probably won't get back this way for another 2 or 3 weeks! Mommymunchkin did something weird to her eye, so been going to the doctor with her a couple times in the last 2 weeks, and either I did something to re-injure my back, or the weather is playing hell with it, because the pain meds aren't touching the pain. I have been on a 2 week drunk, and I just need to get my shit together, but I hurt to fucking bad!
Rand, my condolences to Amanda on losing a grandparent! :(
I'm slightly crispy around the edges.
I just heard that the man I saw earlier this morning, and whom I thought to be just a drunk sleeping it off (though even that is something we don't see too much in my street) was actually dead. Rumour has it that he OD-ed but that's only street gossip. We did sort of look at him but didn't get close enough to see if he was still alive. I guess we should have checked a bit closer.
I've been itching to get the third book of the Mistborn series but of course when I finally get some good Borders vouchers they don't have it in stock.
Borders bookstore needs a motto. I propose "The second book of the series" because that's all they ever fucking seem to have.
Played my first game of the boardgame Risk tonight.
Fuck that game, seriously fuck it. I've seen computer games that require fewer calculations, counting, and the insane amount of clusterfucking thats required to keep the turns running smoothly.,
Eh? With 5 people, it usually takes about 5-10 a turn until you're near the end of the game.
ITT we learn that grown-up games are for grown-ups
One game of Risk my friend's and I played went hilariously. A friend of mine had left me with only Britain after stampeding through Europe to get to another of my friends in Asia. He then completely ignored the fact that I controlled Britain and was amassing troops there because his land war in Asia was going bad (who would have thought). Whenever it was possible I'd swap down to the smallest number of physical units possible, to keep down on possible visual impact. Eventually my one friend, the one in Asia, had to point out to the other one who left me in Britain, that he wasn't overlooking four armies sitting in the middle of his occupied territories, but four cannons or forty armies. The resulting assault I unleashed was enjoyable and in the end I did not make the mistake of leaving him with any territories. :noob:
I believe I must sober up sometime today. I completely fucked up my wrist yesterday when I fell on it. X-rays show a hairline fracture, but the fucker hurts like hell. Of course, they can't give me anything stronger for pain because I am already on 2 different pain meds! :(
Oh yeah, they want me to go see the orthopedic surgeon in Casper...like I can really afford that!
munchie dear, that sounds really messed up. What the hell are you doin'.....?
The one saving grace of the two Hobbit movies, Del Toro, has announced he will no longer be director. It appears MGM has been broke for several years, which was (at best) delaying all kinds of projects.
Jackson also won't be taking over.
So what now?
Bomb from WW2 just went off in my town and killed the bomb disposal squad. 3 dead, 2 seriously injured.
From what I've heard, they wanted to use a new robot to disarm the 500Kg acid fuse bomb - but since the bomb was 7 meters below ground, they had to get the robot down there first during which the bomb detonated.
Old acid fuses are very unstable.
why would bernicio del toro be a bad choice to direct the hobbit? The hellboy direction is clear and intriguing, easy to follow. Similarly so with the legendary pans labyrinth.
I see.
It appears that my post was made in the belief that this was the happy thread.
