Despite this passive-aggressive bitchiNess, I'd say this little forum drama helped some in uplifting the level of discussion from what it was to what it is now. I'm not saying this to boost my imago, such as it is, but to point out how utterly happy and pleased I am at the developments as of late and the rising level of posting.

I know it won't mean much coming from me, but I actually find your posts to be some of the most interesting when you contribute your actual views. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I think most of enjoy hearing foreign views especially when they are backed up and I know you know how to do that.

I'm not sure if you meant foreign in a geographical manner, but I'm not convinced that has so much to do with it given how distanced I am from the mainstream of the surrounding culture. Though you would have a point in that people like me tend to end up sucking dick for a dose of crack in the good old US of fraking A instead of doing science. And so it goes.

Just about everything. Hmmm. That's fairly complimentary. There isn't anyone else on the forum I could say that to, except maybe Ziggy. Now, just about doesn't mean everything, of course. So, what could it be that keeps it from being everything? Well, that 'humanity is forever ugly' stuff. And even then not all the time. After all, I did say it gets tiresome. Not that it 'sucks all the time.' Now, clearly there's a yawning disconnect between what I acutally said my opinion was and what you've built it into in your quote here. Not sure where that idea came from.
