That is what makes it so awesome when someone does chase down a criminal because it takes bravery and courage to do so. EDIT: Lewk's claim that the actions of these dangerous employees is admirable because they require bravery is ridiculous. They require severe lack of judgement, impaired impulse control, mental illness... but not so much bravery.
