For the longest time I thought Minx was a woman. That's a compliment. I hadn't seen any other male exhibit such compassion and tenderness for other people in the forum (that other place). I think he'll make a fantastic physician. He's a bit shy and nervous when it comes to intimate relationships, as far as I could tell. But that's also a compliment. He's sincere and earnest, tentative and serious. I think he'll also make a great partner and lover for the right person. Those are unique and wonderful qualities that anyone can love and appreciate. :)

What's making me happy tonight? Hmmm, I made spaghetti and meatballs for lunch, (it was my turn to feed The Friend's ex at LLS :downcast:) I actually managed to get out of LLS before I was too drinky to walk, and ex #3 is peacefully sleeping in my bed! :eek::D Plus, The Friend is gonna be home and on days off, during Rally, so I will get to go this year! :D:cool:
Went on a walk around the neighborhood today, passed by a house with a Subaru WRX parked on the street, spotted a PedoBear sticker on the side window, haven't stopped laughing since.

I spent the whole day just chilling out around the house, cleaned up a bit, watched some tv (man daytime tv is like a timewarp it hasn't changed in decades) then played C&C 1 for a laugh, did the dishes and started getting dinner ready. Now while it cooks I'm sipping a nice Singapore Sling and fucking around on the interwebs.
This all made me happy because it is a weekday and I am not at work! WoooHooooo!
Had a $25 gift card for BestBuy, ended up buying a V1 CPU cooler. It was only $22, so its not as great as the water cooling or passive equipment I really wanted, but its insanely better than the stock cooler I was stuck with. After a few hours of burn in my idle temps are 12C lower :D

Didn't Atari lose the DBZ publishing rights to Namco Bandai? Now The Witcher jumped ship. Maybe this is why.
When The Witcher shipped with a printing error that did not provide everyone with a CDKey it took Atari several months to reply to their customers, a process that was made even longer when those customers were allowed to upgrade to the EE version for free (with CDKey).
Yet Namco has a turn around of a day, and is polite to boot :)

My group at work has been getting quite a bit bigger over the last few years and there was a possibility at some point that my bosses job would be split in two and I'd get it. Just found out that my boss is leaving - he's handed in a months notice, still a secret at work but I've been told. Sad that he'll be leaving, I quite like and respect him. On the other hand it means a promotion for me next month :)
I don't think my six/seven day weeks will be ending any time soon, but at least now I'll soon get a much-needed pay rise to go with them . . . and my new house also due soon :)

I pointed out that the lines were virtually all white and not red and he said it was in the red section so I have a ticket :mad:, said that even though I'd just parked in a white-lined space there was a red line elsewhere in the car park (which I hadn't seen) which marked the start of the red zone.
Just got off the phone with the manager of the shopping centre and she's accepted the lines are white, not red, so she'll get my ticket cancelled. Apparently in the new year when the whole town was blanketed in heavy snow (the shopping centre actually closed down at one point, even the Asda) the snow plow scrapped the red paint off the floor. Wasn't done deliberately. She's now going to get someone to repaint the lines red. I didn't point out that its now July and the snow was in January, but nice to see someone actually let common sense prevail. And nice I don't have to pay a £60 fine.
I picked up The Fall just now. Looking forward to watching it later.
