I got my top braces off today.
I'm gonna take a webcam pic in a minute.
EDIT: never mind, you couldn't even see my teeth, stupid broken webcam

I really seriously thought I would fly to Istanbul wednesday night. I was so certain of this that I hadn't even checked my boarding card. Then a friend asked me for the exact time of the flight, which made me look at the card for the first time. Turn out my flight is 12 hours earlier than I thought it would be.
Are you sure you're flying to Istanbul, not Constantinople?
Either way, Keep a little light on in your soul.
 Now I have to listen to the fucking song, damn it.
My medication is making me happy.
I'm pretty sure I'm well-prepared for a chemistry exam tomorrow.
Hopefully.
Happy spin for this second blizzard---it really is gorgeous out there. Alien world, sculptures in white.
18 hours of snow and counting, it piles up fast. Electricity holding up, all stocked up on essentials, cozy :D
I gave in to curiosity, and went to the warehouse joint to check them out. While their primary focus seems to be selling large quantities of boxed foods we don't eat, they actually have very good prices on very large packages of fresh chicken breasts, turkey bits, pork loins, and so on. They also had the type of spaghetti noodles I buy.
And tissues and toilet paper and other nifty things we use a lot of, too.
Well worth $30 for the membership.
Unfortunately, it's also cold and snow flurrying, so my happiNess level is lower than you might think after an entertaining and profitable morning.
I seem to have my own snow removal crew now. :) Same group of guys, third storm now, just shoveled another 2 feet from my driveway.
Yes, we get snow most every winter, but usually just a few inches at a time, then it melts. Not this time! More like blizzard of 1996.
Another year without a performance raise, but at least I got my own office now, and it is as large or larger than the kids' rooms.
FUCK YEAH!

The things that make people Happy are amazing.
But it's kinda messing with my groove. Why do you compete with your children for Space-Happy?
compete?
You understand this office is at work right? 3rd floor in fact :D
I'm the only one without a degree with my own office. Hell, I'm the only one thats not a 10+ year Principal Librarian with my own office
I wanted to shop a certain bear into your office, then realized I haven't yet installed photoshop again after I converted my home desktop to Windows 7, so...not happening right now, the moment is gone...just picture it yourself...:noob:
How would getting your own office at work not make one happy? :bulb:
So Momo showed up again at the other place, and asked where everyone had gone off to. Spawnie and Nessus are casualties, and links are being removed. It's hilarious.
Rumrunner, do you see now why I didn't answer his question directly?
Momo logged on already?
Mo! You there?!
I think not getting sexed regularly has affected his poor pathetic little brain to the point where it no longer functions at all.
edit: That was referring to Timmeh. It also applies to Being, I think.
Apparently the St. Mark who registered here isn't the St. Mark from Atari...
My old desk was with the rest of the Librarians, 3rd floor of the other building, that was semi-converted from book storage.
The fact I just leapfrogged all those librarians, and now have an office with proper air circulation and ceilings...that makes me happy.
You really wanna go there? I'm snowed in, got plenty of time on my hands.
Where would you like to begin...that you don't have a degree, but think increased office space without increased pay is a good thing, that you post your gaming computer and games with pride, that you spend child tax credit on Disney Cruise, accept WIC and foodstamps, or that you say your family won't see "middle class" for another generation at least?
