When the Unreal series left the forums i generally thought the process went quite smooth, i also appreciated the hard(ish) work that went into letting us Unreal 2 folks stay in our own little forum with our beloved pub. Not the whole return PM, but the important part. I'd like to point out that my thread wasn't closed, it was just straight up deleted without any explanation to myself. It was posted before I went to sleep and when I logged in later, gone. Given the current rules, and the fact that Timmy will now delete (not close, delete) threads that "have no real point" and "aren't going anywhere", I don't see anything that can be posted in the CC at all, as Phoxe's rules pretty much don't permit anything that isn't pointless banter without an end goal.Quote:

Well there is one other thing we could try, the initial "The Joy of Emoting with Illusions" was based off the idea of discussing "The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross" which would likely be the only thread that could never lead to discussion of anything that was adult in nature, highly doubtful to arouse a heated debate, and would per the nature of its television host, be nothing but friendly. However I figured someone might troll it or lock it once they discovered that Ross ends each episode with a casual goodbye, a friendly wave and "God bless my friends." ...so I went with that. My other alternative was to discuss Lamb Chop's Play Along, however its been decades since I've watched that so wouldn't have been able to start a decent thread. I actually turned down the idea of discussing Mister Roger's Neighborhood, as that might get too controversial with his social commentary (which I don't think was ever negative). :|Quote:
