Can we get a button for shot tag?
Can we get a button for shot tag?

Or maybe just replace the function of the existing img button. That way we won't end up with so many pictures that require scrolling.
Again, why does "advanced" have fewer editing features than "quick reply"?
Your user settings. Go into the User CP, General Settings, and change "Message Editor Interface" to "Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing ".
Spoiler goes wonky when there's a quote in the post:
http://www.theworldforgotten.com/sho...ll=1#post11824
Removes the first window it finds.
That sounds too familiar :D
Fuck. Ok. Just lost a sweet reply to Dread's China Rant because I got logged out while on a phone call and when I clicked post reply it said "uh uh" and when I hit back my post was toast. This has happened to me a number of times and it absosmurfly sucks. I recall very definitely that in AtariCC when this happened it would let you log in and proceed as though nothing had happened. Is there any fracking way to fix this?
Check the "Remember Me" box when you log in?
Sucks to be you, huh
The default is that, but it didn't help people who were transferred over from pre-VB. If you register a new account now though, you'll get WYSIWYG.
Wraithy, sweetheart, could you please be so kind as to remove the abiltity to attach shit to the forums?
Additional feedback required.
Suggestion: Split Debate from Discussion. Or write some clearer guidelines for what "discussion" means.
Apparently I've been putting threads in D & D, for discussion, instead of General Chat (?)
I thought the home page blog was intended for pointy head academic white paper types of things; D & D was for both Debate (with links and facts) and Discussion (more free-flowing dynamic opinion-based conversations), sometimes with overlap; and General Chat was for random thoughts, jokes, funny pictures, music and stuff.
:noob:
I knew breaking these up was a bad idea.
What if we just make it "Debate"? Or "Caged Tiger Match"?
I don't disagree, I defer to Wraith and Rand on this one. :o
Individualized Sub-Forum Warnings/Bans: If possible, if a poster consistently demonstrates that they are incapable of posting in a manner befitting of the subforum in which a post is made, specialized warnings can be given that will eventually result in a temp ban from only that subforum. For instance, if a poster is perfectly able to contribute to Subforum B, and Subforum C, but not A, they can be kept from posting in A via this ban, but still allowed to post in B and C.
Only shortcoming I see: Bruised egos or perceived personal slights resulting in tantrums or other huffs.
Yeah but first you need to describe what belongs where. It's hard to keep everything in the right place when it doesn't say anywhere what belongs where.
Dearest Lolli -- the Avatar thread, is that what you speak of? Wasn't in posted in under a warmongering topic.... could be considered politics (although I too thought the thread was stupid)
It's about a movie.
I can make a thread about Mary Poppins and say the topic is war, that doesn't make it true.
If I select posts with the multi-quote feature, reply to them (in the 'advanced reply' view), post my reply, and then try to quote and reply to a new post, the posts I flagged previously are not automatically unflagged, and come along for the ride. Can I get rid of this behaviour by deleting cookies or is this a forum feature? And if it is a feature, can it be changed?
No repro. Conclusion: User error.
Clear your cookies?
Will do
Seems to have fixed it, will report if further aggravation occurs
Why are there suddenly ugly orange RSS feed buttons on the main pages next to the subscribe buttons?
Fix it!
It has to be a mistake. It has to. Why would we want little RSS buttons?
^ fun watching her gag, eh?
You know, Wraithy, I hear that the avatar size limit is entirely too large. You should probably do something about that.
Strikethrough support.
Otherwise, I look like a retard throwing around to no particular effect. I even called MS tech support, and was told (in a delightful Indian accent) that MS products do support this functionality now. :D
What size exactly? One of the many benefits of using Classic Blue is the larger 90 x 90px size maximum as compared to the 80 x 80px of other styles (I'd have made it 120 but that might have been a bit much). The byte size limit is still the same though.
A members ability to express themselves through their avatar should not be limited by petty pixel size limits. :o
