Today's the day that I could, if I decided I wanted to, pay off my mortgage entirely. Any money I save as of today will really be my own, as are both houses :)

We made this today after dinner and homework. It was entertaining. Not a lot of creativity to it, granted, but the end results are cute-ish.

And they each have a paper kitty for their rooms.

In the morning we get our "new home demonstration" by the developers. Friday next week we move!

My car hit 30,000 miles today. ^_^ That's a little under 10k a year. This car is going to last forever.

I had my first meeting with a mortgage advisor - it went better than i expected. I'm sure there will be some troublesome times ahead but at the moment it's all good! :)

Got my letter from the solicitor today detailing exact costs for when we complete next week. Booked a moving van, had a new home demonstration and house is getting full of boxes ...

Colorado got in touch with me, the next project is finally getting the green light and I'll be starting work next week! And it's my birthday this weekend! Woooooooooooooo

And I have to reply before tomorrow noon, and it won't be easy to drop by that office before noon...

Seems Scarlett has made the transition from crawling to walking tonight. She was making an active effort to stand and walk from point to point instead of crawling. I've got a family gathering next week, so this is perfect timing :D:up:
