I do wonder how much of that is real. And I wonder how difficult it really is to keep stuff like that from happening if it is real. But in the US the fact is a whole lot of people go to prison who probably shouldn't, costing society a great deal more than dealing with crime ought to. Anyone in jail for producing, possession of or dealing pot for example - that's just insane.Quote:

I actually own a copy of this last edition. My grandfather died when I was 8, and I found a copy of this (plus The Gods of Mars, same printing) in the basement Turns out my uncle had read them in high school. Maybe the first real novel I ever read.

From what i heard: He was next to a tow rope which was slack, the car towing then pulled off and him being next to the towing rope took his legs away and he hit his head.
