You do know union reps don't 'rush in' to protect non-tenured teachers, right? I figured you knew that, as part of your criticism of public teacher unions...

Are we letting high school drop outs rule our schools?
Sounds better than constant grey dreary drizzle Gee.

Is our Canuck teachers learning? :o
Strip search for Ibuprofen? Must've missed the chemistry lessons where they explained how that one could be abused as a recreational drug.
But that's mostly about Kindergartens.
I meant that the school administrators never finished high school...
I think I get it now, are you're Kindergarten run by the school administrators? That's probably the connection I'm missing.
Most kindergartens are part of elementary schools (roughly the first 5-6 years of schooling).
Apparently I need a waiver to deploy -.-
1) WTF is keeping Spenni from posting in other threads?
2) Could post this in Messed up Groove, but our Spring weather is really messed up. We began a heat wave in May, traditionally considered Springtime. Heat waves don't usually start until Summer -- middle of June.
3) Super Storm cells leading to unprecedented, unseasonable tornadoes, wind, hail, rain, snow. From North to South, mid-plains to coastal regions.
There were 2 tornadoes on the outskirts of this town in the last few years, but I don't think anyone's been hurt. From what I've read, there have been far fewer tornadoes than is the norm by this time of the year by the way.
What are you reading? There may have been "fewer" tornadoes along the swath known as Tornado Alley, but the storms have been more violent, intense, destructive....and deadly. They've also landed during "school hours", uncharacteristic of previous patterns.
We have separate pre-schools that enroll children before kindergarten.
Some professor is teaching 8 separate courses in one semester here. WTF. :bulb:

I keep waiting for a retraction stating that there's been a huge misunderstanding, but I'm not sure I'm gonna ever find one. :(
EDIT: Old news, resolved. Nevermind.

More school admins being on crack.
Ironically, there's a commercial for a cell phone and its apps...showing a graduate opening his robe on the stage to reveal his boxer shorts. His mom instantly deletes/photo-shops the pose, and the millennial kid behind her calls it Kool.

Is the South really part of the country? :o
I liked the one about 'The City'. Until I moved to the East Coast I had no idea people used it to refer to Manhattan.
That term is used mostly by Manhattaners. :o

Car-ml, that's like 1½ syllables if you ask me.
It depends on the packaging for me. Same for cars. Porsch 944 compared to a Pors-cha Carrera.
but fuck everything about those stuck up commericals trying to make jaguar a 3 syllable word.
