Hot damn that's a lot more gorgeous/readable on mobile screens. Now I will actually post on the train during the weekends, instead of just skimming stuff.

I'm humbled that you did in about 10 minutes what I couldn't figure out with half an hour of messing around. What does 50 represent?
FYI the "Forum" link at the top of the mobile theme still takes you to the TWF index page, which in the mobile theme doesn't contain any link to the forum...
Bloody IRC kids and their in-jokes
The forum link on the mobile theme should now take you to the forum listing. The home link will take you to the front page.
Something must have happened to it. I'll take a look.
edit: VBulletin bug. Looks like it's the "http://" part that's screwing things up. Other tags are probably affected too. They have a fix. Upgrade tonight.
Upgrade complete. Shot tag unfixed. Anything else newly broken?
Basically the problem looks to be that URL tags are forced around the link, which breaks the rest of the code. This isn't happening with the image tags, so there's got to be a system in place already that I can use to fix the issue. Just have to find it.
The "recent forum posts" on the front page is pulling the first line of the post as the title, instead of using the thread title. Teased me with all these new threads that didn't exist :(
Fatal error: Call to a member function isExpired() on a non-object in /home/uvtuttb/public_html/vb/cache/db.php on line 210
Although I suspect you're working on it right now, and thus why I saw it to begin with.
Wait, what? How'd you get that, and is it still there?
The cache didn't get flushed with this upgrade, so it might just be that.
typed in theworldforgotten.com
but its not there anymore
Someone broke the D&D linking, clicking on the link from the forum listing gives me an invalid error, clicking on a D&D thread title in the Whats New area gives me no permission error.
There's visuals on the front page. I like.
There must be eye candy to get people who stumble upon TWF for the first time to keep them interested.
Is there any way we can make improvements to the search engine? Like not kicking out so many "common" words, or letting people search for POSTS by an ID rather than merely threads created by an ID? I'm sorry if I asked for this before. I tried to check if I had or not with the search engine, but it turns out I'd need those features before it could return an answer.
Nothing immediately jumps out at me as an easy and obvious way to improve it, but I'll try to look into it more.
I would like to have a quote, and if possible a +(quote) button on the mobile version.
I can probably swing that. Give me until the weekend, and pester me if it doesn't happen.
I will, from my mobile :)
/me pesters
Forgot about it for a while, but I've looked into it now. It turns out that because of the way vbulletin does it's quotes, I can't really do it without breaking the point of the mobile theme. Sorry.
Speaking of mobile theme, can you make it so that on the main forum page you can see which forums have unread posts?
Oh and maybe create some distance between 'up' and ' log out', it's touch screen and I occasionally mis click. Usually I just hit back but when you log out it gets annoying :p
Did that. Working on the first thing now.Quote:

Works! The + thingy is kinda ugly, but it's very clear :)
Wraith: Can you somehow remove the "Close this thread" tick-box from the Quick Reply box for mods/admins please? It was never there at Atari and I've just accidentally locked the FIFA thread, Dread accidentally locked the Ireland thread and I suspect for both this was to blame. If I lock a thread I do so using Admin Tools anyway, not the Quick Reply box, this "functionality" is a recipe for accidents and requires no confirmation of the desire to lock and doesn't make it obvious that a lock has happened either.
Done.
Thanks!
any way to get the theme selector menu and the quote/multiquote buttons added to the mobile theme?
I'm making a list, checking it twice
Ignoring who is naughty but not who is nice
I would like to put anyone who might tick me off on my ignore list. So far, it's looks to be an extensive list. Part of the reason is to decide whether I really do want to be in here. It means I might miss good posts, but you can't win it all. So I'd like to be able to ignore moderators when they're not donning their moderator hats.
There's no way to be able to tell when they're donning their moderator hats or not, so it's all or nothing. You can add them to your list now (at least until someone else yells at me and points out what a terrible idea that is), but it's not going to function as a defence against moderator action.
Cool beans! Thankee Sir!
By the way, clear out your pms you sloth.
Box has been cleaned.
Please can we get it set to that the URL changes whenever you browse around the site - like it used to at Atari. Unless I open a new tab wherever I browse the URL is always http://www.theworldforgotten.net/forum.php - makes it really annoying when you hit F5 and go back to the start.
Use the .com.
