I'm going to assume the referees this year are down right awful. The local TBT paper ran a full page article on all their screwups and lack of accountability. A full page article on soccer, in the USA... :bulb:

Cheers Zigs, i'll check that out later.

Bafana Bafana!
What is this telling me?
Your language is entertaining looking.
It's telling you the maximum of 120.000 people has been reached :/
edit: which would be odd, since that only happened during dutch games. Maybe it is a country specific site :(
It then let me look, but I am pretty sure what I was seeing was a screen telling me fuck you, you aren't Dutch.
I was really just curious about whether it would work, anyway. If I wanted to watch the game I'd make the kids quit playing the Wii.
Or go to my room. Or probably watch it off ESPN or something here.

You wont want the commentary on anyway if its banned at your work.
Moreover, were you to be desperate for the commentary you could theoretically go to the 5live website and stream live commentary to match the game right?
Also the site www.myp2p.eu has pretty much all live sports streamed to it. Not ideal quality but whatever
Yep, it's telling you to fuck off to www.eurothingybob.tv
In the nicest possible way of course.
game update:
holy fock. France game goes from fire to flames.
Ziggy edit:
Spoiler:
And to think, i was mildly irked that they chose to show this match instead of the likely more entertaining max v uru match. How wrong can one man be?
Ask Domenech :)

Spoilers ... is anyone saving the game to see it tonight? Or am I being overdramatic?
When i saw you spoiler the first one i thought "doesnt hurt to do a bit of a spoiler" and i think ill stick by that.
True.

Go South Africa! Beat the Frenchies!
[spoler]SOUTH AFRICA ARE INTO THE LAST 16![/spoiler]
;)
Spoiler:
Don't you guys have a replay on demand thing online? No need to record it here, you can replay all matches on a page without spoilers. Of course, it would be blocked to anyone outside the netherlands ;)
Spoiler:
And god, the commentator on the France-SA match was horrible.
Yes. Seems he did go down. Im not exactly surprised that he was stretchered off either.
But no, i dont think it was particularly deserved. Justifiable, yes, but could easily have been overlooked or a lesser punishment given. There was no intent, and they were a goal down, and most massive black south african guys ive met dont usually need a stretcher after getting a forearm in the face, so theres definately an element of gamesmanship in play here.
I've been saying since 1982 that FIFA needs to be more aggressive with officiating. So no complaints from me.
I completely disagree. Watching champions league football with referees from la liga and the bundesliga is like pulling teeth

Domenech snubs SA manager Carlos Alberto and refuses to shake his hand at the final whistle.
You'd think France couldn't leave this cup with any more ignominy.
Poor losers.
So was watching Maradona get fouled 40 times/game in 1986. He was hit ever time he touched the ball. Good hard tackles and shoulder checks are fine, but every time a defender gets beat he pulls the guy down or hacks him. No wonder so few goals are scored! If the players learn that they'll get yellows or even reds with those plays, they'll stop doing them and we can see soccer get played.
Of course, it it is European teams who play this style most, and each team protects its own, erm, oeuvre. IMO that Euros do this is why FIFA has been so slow to change it.
Here you go, good luck England :)
I'm hearing God Save the Queen over the vuvuzelas :D:up:
Directors have gone home, guess what we have running on a TV in the office - FOOTBALL! :D:up:!!!!!!!!!!
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Ickle tiny Jermaine, couldn't miss from a great pass.
Score!!!!!! Defoe!!!!
I'm getting rid of spoilers, as if you fellers can contain yourself :D
You boys should all be in a bar together.
Your group watching in spoilers without beers is just wrong.
I'd rather you drank liquor, but it's my understanding that beer is the drink of choice for watching people kick balls.
A beer would be great. We lost the airco in here and it's going towards 30 degrees :(
Told you guys you needed Defoe :)
