I gather he's not the first high-profile proponent of these harmful practices to come out in recent years. Hopefully, with this decision, he'll finally do something good that helps people. Lots to atone for.

It's not like he's going to change the Southern Baptist Church, or other Christian Evangelicals, who teach indoctrinate followers that homosexuality is a *sin*.
