Could Texas elect a Democratic Senator in November? Would be hilarious if they did and few more fitting Republican Senators it would be good to see lose than Cruz.

This is one of those races where if Cruz loses, he has only himself to blame. He is so disconnected from reality and his voters that every time Cruz attacks, Beto just ends up looking cooler.
O'Rourke does look very impressive. He reminds me of Obama.
Yeah he's a real cool party dude.

The interesting thing about the great state of Texas is how they lured new business with low taxes and few regulations, but didn't realize that meant attracting young, diverse, entrepreneurial spirits who built new economic hubs (like Austin) but weren't GOP acolytes. Today's Texas candidate can't run on "God and Guns" like they did for generations. Well, they can try, but it may not work this time around, because all those young, new businesses/entrepreneurs come with new-fangled "liberal" ideas about pay equity, environmental protection, criminal justice reform, universal healthcare, sensible immigration/asylum, etc.
Texas may not turn blue this year, but it's definitely a shade of purple. :donkey:
Seriously?
Lewk considered death an acceptable outcome to toothpaste theft. He is incapable of understanding how people grow, repent, and learn. Didn't we just have a thread where he was unable to understand the life long hardships of those who have a run in with the legal system?
Given that Gaetz is a legislator I can't see how this would be a problem.
Or Trump's history with... everything.
What monetary security is that?
The one created by the Lizard People, of course

That cannot be allowed, surely.
United States.

You haven't being paying attention. I wanted both Rubio and Cruz over Trump. I didn't vote for him because he was personally distasteful. Am I happy that he's done some positive things (tax cuts, lowering the number of business regulations, the constant F U trolling of liberals) sure. But I'll be pushing the button for Libertarian again in 2020 if Trump runs again.
You'll get there by 2020.
Good question.
Dread, why are you using the "intellectually unaware" angle to suggest young people don't know what they want/expect from government?
If anything, it's another way around: it's impressive how many lucky Seniors remain intellectually *dishonest* about where their monetary security came from.
Because Millennials have been educated by an academic establishment addicted to the idea of an ever-larger government.
And they've been let-down by a government that botched the policy landscape post-2008, ensuring that Millennials would become a lost generation of job seekers.
Millenials like making unsupported generalizations about millenials.
I extremely doubt it.
