Half of the ones from the EU have a guaranteed job, and a fifth are students--these ratios are reversed for non-EU migrants. 60% of migrants in low-skilled jobs come from non-EU countries. If you believe your long-standing immigration policies are perverse, you should remember that they are so because they reflect the fantasies and fears and wishes of the British public.
