Massive expansion in both number and capacity of detention camps as a part of China's genocidal campaign of ethnic cleansing directed against the Uighur. Overall, the west has failed to honor its obligations in responding to these acts; despite some meaningless (and mostly self-serving) talk of sanctions by the US, no real and specific pressure has been applied, and western countries have even continued to do business with companies that have availed themselves to Uighur slave labor. As we saw in Burma, "never again" isn't so much a promise as it is a meaningless shibboleth.
