Thread: Medicare Question

    Default Medicare Question

I've always asked myself why retirement age was so low. Having that safety net, people are retards and they indulge in all sorts of hedonistic pleasures. they waste their money then siphon off the system.

Anyone eligible for medicare should be 75+ because they have earned the right to the money. simple, they have expected our expectations. people would actually have to -gasp- plan ahead of time and accordingly in order to survive. i know a lot of interest groups regarding the rights seniors have will get pissd and a lot of senior members are replaced by younger ones, but still.

this might be possibly in america seeing how if we do have a rebllion, all of those who'd concur own a gun, or twenty.

    any thoughts?

This guy is Randy, Low-key and Dread rolled into one, right here
In the future, the Berlin wall will be a mile high, and made of steel. You too will be made to crawl, to lick children's blood from jackboots. There will be no creativity, only productivity. Instead of love there will be fear and distrust, instead of surrender there will be submission. Contact will be replaced with isolation, and joy with shame. Hope will cease to exist as a concept. The Earth will be covered with steel and concrete. There will be an electronic policeman in every head. Your children will be born in chains, live only to serve, and die in anguish and ignorance.
The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference.

It's awesome! And you're awesome! And I especially want you to come white-knighting every person arguing against me! It saves me the trouble of showing the straw-man nature of their belief systems!

    Seriously, go away you weirdo

How would you propose solving this dilemma?

I'd propose you begin by making a more thorough, balanced and accurate assessment of the problem. And toss in some respect for your fellow human beings as well. That's the only way anyone can have any hope of ever solving even a part of the problem you describe in the OP.

Have you started answering your own question by looking up the history of US Social Security?
