But here I am. F*ing Wraith and Ness with some script that made me think about this place again.
In the end ... we're all spineless bastards.
Welcome back, good to see you![]()
I could have had class. I could have been a contender.
I could have been somebody. Instead of a bum
Which is what I am
I aim at the stars
But sometimes I hit London
Orge makes....3 now? I'm impressed. Someone post the message that Nessus created. Please![]()

Good to see you, Ogre!
Which is why it's best not to swear, except when using those fun "four letter words."
"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them."
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

Ogre, when ya come back again (and you will) please give us an update! Are you still living in rural Georgia and mowing a few acres of grass? Whatever happened to your stripper female friends? Are you still working in the airline industry? (Can't remember if it was Delta or AA.) Are you still a volleyball nut?
So GGT, you know why stereotypes are funny? It’s because they are usually true.
Common saying is strippers do drugs… I had to give the strippers living with me the boot. One was on Meth BAD!!!! She ended up stiffing me on a couple of months or rent. The one I was ‘seeing’ (Dread, you met her) was into pills. All their friends were into all sorts of shit. Bottom line is, no more strippers.
So, last summer I went from dating strippers to dating married women. (obvious choice, right), and that was fun for a while until I met one of their husbands… and I liked the guy. So, then I started feeling all guilty and had to cut that short.
So, come about October of last year I started doing the normal date thing. (e.g. Women with jobs, no significant other, and drug free. ) I met two I liked, a lot. Avery and Kacie. Dated both of them for about 4 months, until they found out I was dating each of them (DOH). Now Avery hates me – which is ashame because I can’ for the life of me get over her. The hatred is expected though, I lied to her, a lot. She blogs a lot, and if you were to read her blogs, you would understand why she hates me. Why I can’t get her out of my head I will never understand…. Still dating Kacie though, we were off and on for a while, but now we’re starting to settle in.
Here’s Avery and Kacie – Aves has glasses, KC is the one holding the Bocce Ball – Yes they knew each other--- STUPID STUPID STUPID:
I still live in rural Georgia… cutting all that grass required that I get a riding mower… so got me a Deere! It’s pimp, I wash it more then I wash my truck. Volleyball… this was my best year ever playing. I’ve won 7 tournaments this year and made a little bit of money. I’ve also quit smoking and started running. I ran the Peachtree Roadrace this year (10km). HUGE accomplishment for me. And I still work at Delta, but not sure how much longer that will last.
Wow, you've been busy, Ogre! I think the last time you posted here, you had those strippers living with you....and purported to being happy, having so much fun, girls, sex and no commitments. (Is that right?) Not sure why you went to dating married women. OMG what was that about, and what were you thinking? And why would you date two women at the same time like that?
Avery is very cute, btw![]()
Ogre, dear, you still have that fear of commitment. And that's fine, if that's really how you want to live your life. But I get the impression that you're tiring of the chase, and long for a truly loving mate, and not being afraid of the commitment. (Is that right?)
Yeah, I'm starting to slow down I guess. Growing Up may be a better way to classify it. Yeah, Aves was VERY cute, and her personality was very cool... We split up in January of this year, and she's still on my mind all the time... for some reason I can't get over her -- which is really weird for me 'cause usually I just move on with no problems. I was married for 8 years, and that ended POORLY. So, I guess I am afraid of another relationship ending up like that one.
Good to see you, welcome back!![]()

Ithis place!
WB ogre.
Yeah Timbuk, Avery was hot, very sweet, had an infectious laugh, and I treated her like shit. I was a complete asshole. You name it, I probably did it to her.
We talked about her moving in when her lease was up, we talked about meeting the 'rents... all of it was a facade. And now I can't get the girl out of my head. WHY?
Anyway, I don't have a secret on slowing down. Maybe waking up from a hangover from 2 days before does it to ya? Maybe one too many movies with a sad ending? Maybe it's one too many relationships that end badly.
Avery was not the professor. The professor is now engaged to some dude I have never met. We still talk occasionally, friends on facebook, that type of thing.... but she was way too good for me. I fell for that woman hard. But I don't constantly think about her. The professor and I split up amicably... she was an awesome person (who's ONLY flaw was she wasn't that good in bed).
Avery is a customer support rep for a business VOIP service here in Atlanta. Very nerdy (like yours truly). She's a vegan and a hard core liberal. But we still got along very very well... well other then the fact I constantly lied to her.
To some women, you have to lie. Constantly. It doesn't mean you don't respect them, could be the opposite. But you have to lie.
To some, if you always speak the truth, you're being cruel. They don't know how to handle it, they break down. To some others, if you tell the truth, they tell you the truth. And you break down.
Lies make it easier. And everyone lies, all the time, anyway. So why not?
In the future, the Berlin wall will be a mile high, and made of steel. You too will be made to crawl, to lick children's blood from jackboots. There will be no creativity, only productivity. Instead of love there will be fear and distrust, instead of surrender there will be submission. Contact will be replaced with isolation, and joy with shame. Hope will cease to exist as a concept. The Earth will be covered with steel and concrete. There will be an electronic policeman in every head. Your children will be born in chains, live only to serve, and die in anguish and ignorance.
The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference.
It matters if we're lying to ourselves or to others, I suppose that's the gist.
This was the way I thought for the longest time.... tell people what I want them to hear. I've realized that if someone can't handle the truth, they can't handle me. I've definitely learned that a honest relationship helps build trust.
Both. The schmuck part is why I can't get her out of my head though. She was an awesome girl and she didn't deserved to be treated like I treated her.
Not only did I lie to her, I actually started believing the lies myself.... so in essence I was lying to myself.
Yeah Flix.... hindsight being 20/20... there are a lot of things I would do different. Plus I have a phobia of commitments, so maybe that's why I lie.... hoping i'll get caught and don't have to worry about a relationship too.
But I want one. I want to be able to settle down... I just have such a hard time doing it for some strange reason.
