    Default Happy 2012, ****faces

Termite et al have the lead on me, but it's the new year here now, so make the best of it, you miserable wretched wrecks
In the future, the Berlin wall will be a mile high, and made of steel. You too will be made to crawl, to lick children's blood from jackboots. There will be no creativity, only productivity. Instead of love there will be fear and distrust, instead of surrender there will be submission. Contact will be replaced with isolation, and joy with shame. Hope will cease to exist as a concept. The Earth will be covered with steel and concrete. There will be an electronic policeman in every head. Your children will be born in chains, live only to serve, and die in anguish and ignorance.
The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference.

Welcome to the year of the machine elves.

I think I'll be staying in 2011 for a bit longer. Will probably join you later, though.

If it ever gets here, work being open today was fucking pointless.

The date termination line has now officially reached Germany!

Only three years left until flying cars, hoverboards, and self-drying jackets.

Yeah, I'd like a hovercar and a Rosie Robot, please. Just like the Jetsons!

Don't we already have self-drying micro-fleece jackets and armor underwear that 'wicks away moisture'?

The last year in history has just reached me. Happy New Years everyone!

    Happy New Year.

The Jetsons were set in 2062 so a Rosie Robot is a bit far off. Guessing Norton was talking about Back To The Future 2

A Happy Last Year to all of you, make it count.
    Congratulations America

Do we pronounce this year as Twenty Twelve, or Two Thousand Twelve?

I'm partial to Twenty Twelve, probably because the 1900's were in Nineteens and not One Thousand Nine Hundreds.

    Happy new year.

GGT should we have started with twenty-xx already when we switched to 2010?

Probably. Saying Twenty Ten was easier and more efficient than saying Two Thousand (and) Ten.

  15. #15
Says someone speaking a language calling a letter "double u", now that's inefficient.

We ought not make fun of the aughts, huh.

Better than them frogwits who have to blurt out 'quatre-vignt-dix neuf' just to say ninety-nine.

Anyway. Happy New Years to all you snivelling lot.

Hey, don't complain. I was at work on Christmas' day, and had to sit at the same table as a leutenant who really had decided to kill the mood.

I entered the new year sober this time. I was convinced into doing so, thus I started drinking 2AM.
Tomorrow is like an empty canvas that extends endlessly, what should I sketch on it?

Nonante in French speaking Switzerland (with the exception of Geneva). But at least the frogwits say "double v" instead of "double u".

Although in cursive writing the letter w can appear as a cross between two v's and two u's.
