Valve is kicking up their PR machine again. Lots of weird shit going on in different games, Steam, and PC Gamer is hinting at something.
Valve took the trading card concept out of beta because "Making trading cards available to all Steam users is a step towards an event we think everyone can be excited about..."
A HL2 update has messed up the language packs, the Korean pack overwrites all others:

the 13th floor has been confirmed a joke by the artist, mag has remained silent about floor 3.
on the 24th Valve added an unknown promo to TF2
a few weeks ago several screenshots were leaked concerning email lists for members of the HL3 development team.

Now I've seen to much shit to make the jump about all this being a HL3 announcement, but it is about time for the Summer Sale, and I wouldn't mind it at all if Valve made this interactive like they did with the last summer sale and the Portal 2 launch.
