    Default Fallout 4

I'm tired of getting console games on the PC. I don't really care that the graphics haven't improved significantly since Fallout 3 - I really don't - but why are we still limited to a field of view that assumes you're playing eight feet away from your display? I know I probably should have expected it, given that this is a Bethesda game post-Morrowind, but is it really so much to ask that hey not half-ass the PC port of the console's UI? Yes, yes, "modders will fix it", but why couldn't Bethesda have fixed it? This is supposed to be a AAA title, and it's sold at AAA prices! If they're going to insist on making the user community fix their shit, we should at least get a discount.

I think I'm just going to take advantage of the steam refund policy and repurchase when it's on sale, less buggy, and has a healthy mod library.

This has been a Wraith Wrant! Thanks for wreading!

    Bethesda
The light that once I thought compassion still casting shadows in your action
The words you shared were cold transactions that bring me to curse what you've done
When you're up there absorbed in greatness with such success you've grown complacent
I hope you scorch your many faces when you fly too close to the sun

I never understood the insanity behind Bethesda games. Their releases are always buggy as shit that they take their sweet time in fixing. Great games for patient gamers, but not worth $60+

    You do.

Game are selling Fallout 4 for £44.99 for Xbox One, £44.99 for PS4 and £35.99 for PC. Spot the odd one out with a 20% discount.

Unless it is different in the USA to here I can't recall the last AAA title to be released that was as much or more on PC as it is for console. Normal prices for AAA titles here are £44.99 for console and £34.99 for PC. Oddly there's one game out now I want (that isn't AAA) that has quickly become £35 on PC and £25 on PS4/Xbox One but I want it for PC so I'm waiting for the PC price to drop in line. But that is very, very rare and I've never seen it for a AAA title.

It costs $60 on all the platforms.

Oddly that's £40 so console games here are charged a fiver more while PC gamers get it cheaper. Weird.

Guess you're screwed if you live here, €60 on steam and the console versions go between €55 and €70 from what I can tell.
Keep on keepin' the beat alive!

Because people keep buying them. Same reason those shitty mobile pay to win games keep raking in the cash. People apparently want this type of content. /boggle
