So, in the event that Wraith is unreachable, I've been delegated emergency administrative powers. What does this mean for the forums in general? Not much really. Dread and Rand will still be pulling Mod duty, with Wraith on the assist, where-as my admin powers have mainly been granted in case things get out of hand and none of them are around, or if some admin type thing needs to be done and either Wraith isn't around, or I can take care of it faster. Also, in case any of these situations do arise, just report it like you normally would, and if necessary Dread or Rand will bring it to my attention.

Also for the record, Illusions was required to send us a compromising self portait in case he gets out of hand and turns the forums pink. That is all.

Illusions has done a lot of the style work for this place anyways, so this also has the added benefit of letting him do work on the main server without anyone needing to move stuff around for him.

Even though it's very unlikely that Illusion's emergency admin powers will be activated, I still oppose this completely.

I don't agree with giving emergency admin powers to someone who used to end arguments with insults (ie: @ me... though I can't say this 100% for sure as a lot of people do this and I may have misremembered...) and is likely to do so again, thus compromising an official-like neutral stance as would be expected of an admin.

I believe the "neutral stance" is in regards to exercising moderator or administrative power, or speaking as one, not voicing opinions in threads. I'm not going to treat you any differently than anyone else in regards to any moderating or administrating I might do.

Argument and opinions is one thing, but outright insults is another... The temperament is the issue; you haven't insulted me in a while... but, can you really call a black-and-white-striped cat a skunk? If you are by some freak occurrence temporarily the only admin left, I'd feel like I was dancing on an alligator's open mouth.

I'll argue until I'm blue in the fact and am a stubborn git in arguments, but when it comes to moderating I'll be impartial. User first, mod second.

I'm unsure how any insults I've ever hurled your way would be an indicator that I'd abuse admin status. The two aren't logically connected.

This exactly. The only moderation I'd ever wind up doing is bot control if it came down to that, otherwise I'm here to insure the forum keeps puttering along in the same way a mechanic is around to keep a car running. I'm not exactly sure what you're so wound up about Aga.
