Prevent Double Posting By Putting a Time Limit
I've noticed a few times that it is double posting replies I make. I put the blame on my crappy internet but there is a way to fix it on the site side.
Simply implement a one minute hard stop on any additional posts once a post has been made. I know other forums that do this and it works out well.
There's currently a 10 second limit on it. The other place used to have a 30 second limit, and that used to inconvienience some of the faster posters. If others want it too though, I can increase the limit.
I just notice I sometimes accidentally double post on the mobile theme, I post, do not see the post there and my reply is still in the post box thingy, and then I post again and it is double.

I've increased the time limit to 20 seconds. Hopefully this will make it harder to accidentally double post without inconveniencing anyone else.

What about a test to see if the post you've submitted is a duplicate of one you've submitted in the last 5 minutes? I believe there's something like that with threads, why not posts?
