    Made my day.

Harmon described the dad as "very remorseful," adding that he didn't know the man was going to die.
Just a little further into the article
"One day, we shall die. All the other days, we shall live."

A father caught in the moment of rage and despair at the thought of his girl being touched by a monster and then coupled with the despair that he killed they guy?

    That makes your day?

I very well could donthe same thing, but it would wreck my psyche for some time...

Made my day that there is one less pedophile on the street and that since this was in Texas the hero who killed the monster isn't going to suffer a whole bunch of legal hassle.

Vigilante justice is not good. This is arguably a crime of passion and it's sad.

There's a pretty good argument to be made here for self-defense (depends on just how many times he punched him after he was out).
Hope is the denial of reality

I doubt the outcome would be very different in many other jurisdictions, as Loki says he has a pretty good self-defence case.
The light that once I thought compassion still casting shadows in your action
The words you shared were cold transactions that bring me to curse what you've done
When you're up there absorbed in greatness with such success you've grown complacent

Well yeah, you don't want to make it easier when some shit federal DA tries to make a case out of it. (He won't be prosecuted in Texas of course).

That Lewk reports this sad and troubling story with a 'Made my day ~ smiley face' is telling ...

Thanks for the update, glad to hear my faith in the Texas justice system was warranted.
