I got to be Santa for the first time. It was okay but I felt used. Otherwise very pleasant apart from post call hangover and pre-call panic/tristesse. Great food, fun games, nice presents the ginger was happy with her presents and gave me just the sweetest presents because she's just the sweetest person

No snow this year. Only ice. Ice everywhere

Merry Christmas, so many different gatherings this year.

On the other hand the kid is super happy with the amount of loot he's gotten.

I've never understood why parents push Santa. If I'm buying my son a gift he damned well will know it was from me. Proud to say he never believed in Santa. (I paid for your gifts, you would of had more but the government takes some of my money and wastes it). Ah life lessons... :0

Too bad you couldn't give him the gift of good grammar, in the season of giving.

I'm told the little monster ( ) managed to identify me despite my cunning disguise and excellent acting but I don't believe it, sounds like a hurtful lie intended to undermine my self-esteem.

My parents always signed the best gifts as from "Mummy and Daddy" (or "Daddy and Mummy" they alternated that), with so-called 'stocking fillers' (no stocking) being from Father Christmas.

Same as all the presents from extended relatives or friends being signed as from them. I sort of had the image of Father Christmas being a magical postman who got us presents from everyone. Not too far from the truth.

We did the same with Chloe this year. Her main presents were from us, the minor ones came from Santa.

My hatred of wrapping things led to everything being from Santa as long as possible.
