    Default Socialism is.....

    ...fill in the blank.

For all the political groups fighting against SSSocialism, I dare to ask how/why they can also promise to keep Social Security or Medicare alive and solvent.

Also, when it comes to the basics of life, like water.....are you a SSSocialist if you believe government has a responsibility and duty to protect/control/regulate water?

How did SSSocialism get such a bad wrap when most people are actually SSSocialists?

You mean social security and universal healthcare are enough for a socialist country? Well than the US lost the cold war after all.

No, I'm asking people what they think "Socialism" means.

Sorry my question was maybe not phrased well enough, let's try again:

Do you mean social security and universal healthcare are all it needs to make a country a socialist country?

Or simpler is Switzerland in your eyes a socialist country?

I was just challenging Americans who think the USA isn't SSocialist at all, even though they rely on SSocialist principles, as part of a social contract with government for essentials like water. See Flint, Michigan.

Or that NYC, after being attacked on 9/11, was treated as a national symbol for private and governmental relationships......they just didn't want to call that Socialism, either.

I want to know if people think SSSocialsm is bad or good, when storms threaten their own homes/businesses, or someone else's.....and what role insurance and lawyers play.

I want to know what people like Lewk think about risk analysis, when they have a bias against certain people, and certain cultures, and can influence rates/premiums for everyone else.

If you only want to discuss with Lewk, why don't you just say so?

    BTW why aren't you sleeping?

If hindsight is 20-20, why is it so often ignored?
