Default How it Started... How its going

    How it started...

    https://www.businessinsider.com/cvs-...rotests-2020-6

"The representative said that more than 250 CVS stores across 21 states sustained "varying levels of damage" over the last several days. In cities across the country, looting has at times followed peaceful protests against the death of George Floyd, a black man who died after a white police officer knelt on his neck during an arrest."

    How its going...

    https://www.cnn.com/2020/12/24/us/ph...ine/index.html

"Chicago is among the cities across the country that could face roadblocks to vaccine access due to a lack of major pharmacy and grocery chains in their poorest Black and brown neighborhoods. "

Perhaps you should've read the second article before posting something so dumb. Just a thought.

I don't see how Lewk can be more clear. The reason pharmacy-deserts exist is because black people are lawless rioters
Last night as I lay in bed, looking up at the stars, I thought, “Where the hell is my ceiling?"

THEN MAYBE HE SHOULD HAVE LINKED TO AN ARTICLE HE WROTE THAT ACTUALLY SAYS THAT FUZZY

In all seriousness, the second article contradicts what he's obviously trying to insinuate, so this thread is kinda dumb.

I did - I'll remind you yet again that just because I post an article does not mean I think every part of the analysis is correct. You think MSM would ever directly blame bad behaviors of communities for store front closings? The simple truth is that rioting often exacerbates already slim pickings. Business is there to make profit. The mass rioting impacts it. The low level regularly theft also impacts it.

Lewk, read the second article again so that you can understand why what you just said was even dumber than what you first said. Pay special attention to dates and company statements. I am giving you the benefit of the doubt wrt basic literacy here, please don't let me down.

Lewk, I take it your argument is that CEOs of pharmacies from 2020 saw the looting, invented a time machine, and told their predecessors not to open stores in the looted areas?
Hope is the denial of reality

You seem to think the 2020 riots were the only ones that ever happened...

Business is about making money - it is such a pure and simple endeavor. Why would they open stores that aren't profitable? Yes insurance exists but often is just for the physical goods and location not the lost productivity when its a ruined rubble. To say nothing of the fact premiums will go up.

And look it isn't like many of these places weren't operating on a razor thin margin due to needed extra loss prevention and just overall less items purchased per customer.

Rioting does no one any good, it only exacerbates existing issues and making things worse. A strong hand is needed to crush criminal malcontents - failure to keep criminals in line leads to very shitty neighborhoods and a lack of access to things like food or medicine. But of course the bleeding heart liberals who don't actually live in the communities with soaring crime rates never have to personally experience the horrors their "compassion" unleashes.

Just how close to the wind do you think these businesses are running that having to replace some windows in 2014 or something means the entire endeavor is now unprofitable?
The light that once I thought compassion still casting shadows in your action
The words you shared were cold transactions that bring me to curse what you've done
When you're up there absorbed in greatness with such success you've grown complacent
I hope you scorch your many faces when you fly too close to the sun

Hey Lewk, why don't you read the article? There is some text in there that might help you understand why you're being stupid.

You're being very kind to Lewk just calling him stupid.
I could have had class. I could have been a contender.
I could have been somebody. Instead of a bum

Right Lewk. A lack of pharmacies and doctors in black neighborhoods was not a problem before Ferguson.
