So, to go get my driver's license reinstated I have to have: an original birth certificate, a valid picture ID, proof of residency, and proof of social security! Ok then, why does my friend who is a Colombian national only have to show his Colombian passport to get the same license? America is rapidly becoming a "show your papers" country!
