Hurt Locker
Putting this here instead of General Chat, because War isn't an idle chat topic.
My son bought the DVD recently, and he's only 14 yrs old.
I hadn't heard of it (he watched it with his father), but it's a great movie. Disturbing, thought-provoking, controversial.
On its heels was a PBS documentary about Love and War (someone will have to find and link that for me since my computer is being difficult), Love of War, War as an Addiction. Mars mates with Venus. We dress it up, parade it about, our violence is dramatic and passionate, is it Love?
Will the paradox never go away, we'll just put The Bomb in different lockers and compartments, all the world is a stage, all is fair in love and war?
