Agreed, I don't think it's deliberate. But then again the financial markets were closed, and "closing date" of these things is usually somewhat flexible so arguably it could have waited just a bit.
Disney's a multinational corporation. Just because NYSE is closed doesn't mean that the financial markets are closed.
