Uhm, the US is breeding at or above population replacement rates, if you include the undocumented workers and immigrants (who are propping up our service-consumer based economy).
We're also educating large number of students from developing nations, but don't extend a green card or work visa to keep them in the country, to utilize the education we've provided for our own growth. Even if they WANT to stay here and contribute to our economy and society, or become naturalized citizens, we make it too difficult. It's no wonder they leave, and take their ideas with them.![]()
