Donald Trump’s streak of falsehoods now stands at 33 days

Donald Trump has been president for all or part of 33 days. He has averaged four falsehoods or misleading statements a day(!) in that time. There hasn't been a single day of Trump's presidency in which he has said nothing false or misleading.

In the 33 days so far, we’ve counted 132 false or misleading claims.

Some of those so called untruths are pretty damn petty if not the truth. Which is a shame as they can be cherrypicked by Trump supporters to discredit the fact checkers and by insinuation the full blown whoppers.

Eg they list as a falsehood Trump simply saying that the stock market had hit a record high on the day the stock market hit a record high, just because he dismissed the stock market as being a bubble under Obama. That doesn't make his claim false.

Trump has certainly changed his spin on good news, unsurprisingly since he's now in government rather than opposition, but that doesn't make the fact that the stock market hit a record high a falsehood.
