... What are they doing? It seems to me Microsoft has this seldom ability to jump onto market fads, look at their rivals, then misinterpret their reasons for adding certain functionality and follow up with the worst piece of construction they can possibly design.

That color scheme might be okay for a middle-aged couple in Turkey, but is waaaay too obnoxious for people in general. Tiles that launch into full-screen applications only work when software only has 1 central function. Otherwise they'll be odd looking. And the whole multitasking / windows swapping concept seems like a gigantic leap backwards in productivity.

Am I the only one changing to OSX Lion or a Linux distribution next?

Edit: I'll probably follow up on this thread with Apple's next conference held on monday, which will reveal a lot of OSX Lion.
