Utter bullshit. A "basic" office visit for prescriptions or a quick medical diagnosis costs me $40. The damned expensive ones with blood screening or a physical cost me $85, (IIRC, it's been at least a year or two since I checked). Expecting health insurance to cover a quarterly or semi-annual doctor's visit is perfectly analogous to expecting your car insurance to cover bi-monthly oil changes ($19.99 at Jiffy Lube) or the occasional tune up and tire rotation.
It costs $125 in the Cornfields. It was $90-100 a few years ago in an immigrant part of Brooklyn.
