Provided the suspects are apprehended at all... and not that he said/she said seems like it would be much of an issue in either of the examples here.

Not that I suppose it matters that much to me, or that I'm at all surprised at people expecting others to stick out their necks for total strangers for no reason or reward... just further validation of my opinions on mankind.
